How much does it cost to attend?
Regular tickets cost $129.00. However stay linked for special early-bird rates.
Is there a cost to nominate a business?
There is NO COST to enter the 2013 SWIBA Awards.
Do I have to be in attendance to win an award?
No, you do not have to be in attendance to be selected a winner. However, you must be in attendance to receive the official SWIBA Award trophy complimentarily provided by our company. If you are not able to attend, but would like to obtain your award, opportunities to purchase will be available post-event. Trophies and plaques are available.
Is there travel assistance to/from the airport?
Yes, shuttle transportation is FREE to/from the Atlanta airport.
Can I attend if I'm not nominated?
Yes, certainly! This event is ideal for business professionals; however the conference is open to the public, members of the press, business owners, corporate professionals, family, and friends - both men and women. In fact, this is an excellent opportunity for business professionals; while the day includes an awards ceremony, it's equally a business conference, empowerment workshop, and networking social. So that means a lot of education - inspiration - and relationship building!
Am I able to purchase tickets the day of the event?
Unfortunately no. Tickets are only available in advance.

I'm a new entrepreneur, can I nominate my business?
Absolutely, as long as you meet the criteria outline here and in our Awards Information Guide, we'd be delighted to receive your entry.
Can I bring my spouse, significant other, or friend?
Yes, please feel free to share the day with those supportive of your efforts.
I'd like to submit my speaker information, how shall I proceed?
Our speaker submissions will be accepted starting July 16, 2012. We would be delighted to consider your expertise. However, FIRST review our 2013 SWIBA AWARDS SPEAKER GUIDE and INFORMATION GUIDE for answers to typical questions. When ready, submit your information here.
Will winners be announced in advance?
Finalists, of course, will be contacted and announced in advanced. However, winners will be announced at the LIVE ceremony in Atlanta.
When will Finalists be notified and announced?
We will contact finalists with additional details late 2012 / early 2013. They will be announced publicly by early 2013.
Can I bring my children?
You can surely bring your children; however unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to accommodate childcare for attendees. If you choose to stay in the hotel, you're more than welcome to bring your children and caregiver to the hotel, while you partake in the day's events.
I was a winner at the 2012 awards, how do I obtain my award trophy?
Award winners can purchase trophies and plaques at their convenience, click here to download the form and send completed form to swiba [at] stilettowoman [dot] com.
No. Winning honorees must wait one year before nominating again. For example: If you won an award in year 2000, you would have to wait until year 2002 before nominating again. Note: If someone else nominates your business, it will not be considered if you were a winning honoree the previous year.
Do winners receive actual trophy awards or certificates?
Winning honorees in each category receive a custom, personalized heavy-weight glass award. The award has sand-etched engraving that includes the SWIBA logo, award title, name personalization, and other attributes. Awards are safely packaged in protective lined gift boxes.
